Grand Sempler goes to ... Imago from Croatia!

From among 34 shortlisted entries, the Sempler Awards Jury choose the best media strategies in the region and presented nine Golden Semplers and the Grand Sempler. The winner of the highest award, Grand Sempler, is the advertising agency Imago from Croatia for “A consonant for Life”, created for a Croatian Association Transplant.

Portorož, November 26, 2015 – Grand Sempler, the highest award of this year's Sempler Awards Competition for the best media strategies in the region, went to advertising agency Imago from Zagreb, Croatia, for the campaign “A Consonant for Life” of Croatian Association Transplant.

The aim of the campaign “A Consonant for Life” was to raise awareness about the importance of decision to donate organs, to express support for all those who are waiting for organ transplants and to thank all the donors and their families who helped save lives. To achieve this objective the agency created an application that helped Facebook users to express their consent to organ donation by metaphorically “donating” a part of their names. Many media, companies and brands supported the campaign by “donating” a consonant from their names and logos.

“The jury has unanimously decided which campaign deserves the Grand Sempler. With its simple idea and small budget, “A Consonant for Life” succeeded to achieve an extraordinary activation of the media, social networks and general public,” said the Jury President Marko Vičič, partner and executive creative director at Futura DDB. He added that all the shortlisted entries were on a very high quality level, since they stood out for their uniqueness and creativity.
